Luxury super sport
Our work on the 125ft Italian Tecnomar Superyacht is one of Australia’s largest ever private yacht rebuilds. H&CO. collaborated closely with the Client over 3 years to create this one of a kind masterpiece that now resides in Sydney Harbour.
We were inspired by the sporting lines of this yacht as it sits deceptively low in the water for a boat of its size, and developed a project narrative that gleans cues from British and Italian supercar design.
The extensive redesign meant that the craft was stripped back to its hull, and rebuilt anew piece by piece.
Some of the key areas undertaken in the design were:
Externally, the swim platform was extended by 1.5 meters allowing a ‘Beach Club’ to be created, new landing stairs to stern, new garage door with extended hinges, a completely reconfigured aft deck, bespoke stainless steel work to railings and gates, shade sails, underwater lighting, carbon fibre stabilisers, anchor and chain, deck lighting, multi zone sound system, completely reconfigured bow seating and sun pad, the creation of a sports helm on a reconfigured fly bridge, upgraded navigational domes and custom mast, extended saloon windows, new panoramic windscreen, additional enlarged portholes to master cabin, complete re fairing and painting, new signage and branding.
Internally, new engine room, reconfigured saloon, helm, cabins, bathrooms, corridors, crew quarters and galley. The entire internals of the craft were stripped back to structure. Custom joinery, lighting, furniture design, and luxurious finishes some unique to this project, were then implemented throughout the bare shell to create an entirely new super yacht.
